How compatible are these books to D&D & Pathfinder rpgs? If not directly, do you have conversion tools/tables for DMs & players of other RPGs to use your books in their own games?
Castles & Crusades is based upon a streamlined d20 mechanic, so it plays similarly to D&D and Pathfinder. Those games, however, are far more complex in their systems than C&C is. Converting to C&C from those games is easy. Converting the other way is not difficult, but neither is it fast, because monsters have very different assumptions. In general, if a monster has less than 10 hit dice, doubling the hit dice is a good place to start. From there it’s a matter of converting its abilities using similar abilities from an official SRD monster, or using the guidelines in the DMG on pages 273-283. Converting CL to DC, likewise, isn’t a 1:1 system. For a CL 1-5 check, add the CL to 10 to get the DC. For CL 5-8, the DC should be roughly 17-18. For CL 10-30, the DC should range from 19-25.

Yes, you will be able to increase you pledge amount. As it stands right now we are looking at using Backerkit for this project, though we may shift gears as circumstances dictate.

Will the additional funds apply to unlocking Stretch Goals?
No. We tie the stretch rewards to the Kickstarter directly to avoid confusion.

Some Reward levels state that they may not be eligible for some Stretch Goals. When and how will those Backers be told which Stretch Goals they will receive at that level? How do Backers who want some / all of the Stretch Goals keep that Reward level and
Who gets what stretch reward is outlined in the body of the Kickstarter, beneath the picture map of the stretch rewards. The map and the information below is marked as “unlocked and that will let you know which goals you are eligible for. Some of the stretch goals are added to the AD ON list AFTER they are unlocked, some are not. Those that are not added there will only be available to those backers who pledged at that level.

How much more would a Backer need to spend to automatically receive all of the Stretch Goals if they Back at the $145 level for all of the Codexes?
Its best to pledge at the $100 level and add the five other books in the Mythos series as add ons. Those total $105 for print and digital copies of them. So you’ll end up pledging $205.00 at the $100 level and you will receive all the add ons (the only caveat being if we add something for the $200 level, but we have no present plans to do that).

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
